My journey began at the start of 2020 when, needing to do something to relax I looked into Tai Chi with a 'nothing else to lose' attitude - I may aswell try something new! Little did I know that stepping through those doors on that Wednesday evening would have such an impact on my life - in a positive light. I had never encountered Tai Chi prior to this, but I was hooked from the get-go. |

I have been and continue to be, training under Sifu Ashley at AJC Tai Chi Health & Fitness since 2020.
Tai Chi - also known as Meditation in Movement, has an impact not only when training but by learning to slow down the mind through daily practise has also given me a mindset shift that is noticeable in everyday life to bring a peaceful attention to attitude and actions. You get out of it what you put in, from a fun and relaxing class to allowing it to become a part of who you are - the process is gradual with lots of hard work but the results may just surprise you and there are always new layers to be explored and a multitude of things to learn and you get out of it what you put in. It has become, for me, more than just a hobby and I am excited to be able to share the next chapters of my journey with others, by sharing my knowledge and guiding others to unlocking their own Tai Chi path.
